Terms of use

Use Taxterity as a research assistant, with independent professional judgment.

Effective September 13, 2026

The service

Taxterity helps you research tax sources and draft or review documents. By using the service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our privacy practices. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Verify before relying

Outputs are research assistance, not legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Taxterity is not a law firm and does not establish an attorney-client relationship. AI can make errors, omit relevant authorities, misread a document, or produce an incorrect conclusion even when it includes citations.

You are responsible for checking original authorities, current validity, effective dates, precedential weight, jurisdiction, and application to the facts before using an output. Taxterity is not a citator, does not guarantee current or complete law, and does not file documents, provide representation, or track your deadlines. See coverage and limitations.

Your account and material

Use your own account, keep it secure, and submit only information you have the right to process. You retain your rights in your submitted material. You authorize us and our service providers to process and store that material to deliver the features you request, as described in the privacy policy. Do not upload unnecessarily sensitive information.

If you share an artifact, check its contents and the intended recipients. A share link is accessible to anyone who has it.

Usage limits and charges

The workbench shows the credits required before a generation request. Personal usage limits and shared service spending limits can delay or prevent requests. A service interruption or limit does not authorize us to charge you. There are no automatic paid overages; any future paid plan must be separately presented and accepted. Available features and free allowances may change with notice.

Acceptable use

Do not bypass credit or security controls, create accounts to evade limits, disrupt the service, access another user's data, upload malicious files, or use Taxterity unlawfully. We may restrict access to protect users, contain costs, investigate abuse, or maintain the service.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, fitness for a particular matter, or error-free output. Keep independent copies of work you need. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a problem occurs, contact us so we can investigate.

Contact and changes

For questions, see our contact page. We will update the effective date and provide notice of material changes. Stop using the service if you do not accept an updated version.
